About Overdrive

I am Simone ‘Tommy’ Cei, singer, songwriter and performer. I am the vocalist and frontman for Overdrive and I like to rock hard! Born in Italy, I moved to Manchester to achieve the dream of having a band and to bring joy and entertainment to every show. My goal is to be a never-ending source of energy and excitement on stage, while bringing an excellent level of professionalism.

I’m the drummer of Overdrive, originally from Hull. Outside of the band, I love sport, going to watch the football and generally making the most noise I can. I like to think this transfers into my playing - I’m very energetic and take pleasure in my main focus of playing live, to make sure everybody in the room has a great time!

I’m the lead guitarist for Overdrive and I also take care of admin, so it’ll be me who you chat to in the run-up to your event! I adore playing live and make the most of it every chance I get, with weddings being my favourite type of gig. Some of my favourite artists include Bruce Springsteen and Jimi Hendrix, who I try to channel with my high-energy solos!

I’m Kian, the bassist of our band. I’ve been rocking out with these awesome folks for over three years now. I love playing bass and making sure our sound is just right: I’m the go-to person for setting up all the equipment and ensuring the mix is on point. Whether it’s a wedding, a party, or any event, I’m all about creating long lasting memories with a top notch live band.
